A splendid flintlock musket, Balkan/Turkish, circa 1820. Two-stage barrel, octagonal breech section then round with a sighting flat and a smooth bore in 15.5 mm calibre. Lavishly chiselled and engraved trophy decoration on the breech. Front sight missing. Re-converted lock with cut and engraved decoration. The cock has been repaired at one place.
