A splendid flintlock musket, Balkan/Turkish, circa 1820. Two-stage barrel, octagonal breech section then round with a sighting flat and a smooth bore in 15.5 mm calibre. Lavishly chiselled and engraved trophy decoration on the breech. Front sight missing. Re-converted lock with cut and engraved decoration. The cock has been repaired at one place. Lavishly carved walnut half stock with martial trophies and crescent moons amid vine decoration. Cut and engraved iron furniture. Wooden ramrod with horn tip.
