Willy Caballero leaving Manchester City with Argentinian keeper out of contract this summer
Caballero, 35, becomes third out-of-contract star today that the Citizens have confirmed is on his way out
MANCHESTER CITY have announced that Willy Caballero is leaving.
The Argie stopper is out of contract at the Etihad and will now leave this summer.
The former Malaga keeper, 35, becomes the THIRD player that City have today announced will leave this summer.
Gael Clichy and Jesus Navas earlier became victims of Pep Guardiola's summer reshuffle.
Pablo Zabaleta was afforded a proper send-off after City announced he would leave before the end of the Prem season.
Caballero told City's official site: “It’s been a privilege to play for Manchester City.
“From the first day I arrived, everyone at the Club has made me feel welcome and I will always be grateful to them.
“To win the League Cup in such dramatic circumstances was special and it’s a day I will never forget.”

Caballero became a cult hero with City fans after his penalty shootout heroics against Liverpool helped secure the 2016 League Cup.
City director of football Txiki Begiristain added: “Willy will, quite rightly, be remembered by the City fans for the role he has played over the past three seasons.
“He is a special man – and his performances this season were of a consistently high standard.
“I have no doubt he will go on and continue to prove his quality at the top level.”
Caballero kept 10 clean sheets in his 27 appearances for City this season and made a total of 48 appearances in total.
