Fifa has announced that actor James Nesbitt and TV presenter Kate Abdo will co-host the Ballon d’Or Gala in Zurich on 11 January.
The Northern Irish actor and Manchester United fan will host the show for the first time. The multi-lingual sports presenter Abdo did so last year.
The three-man shortlist for the world player award comprises two Barcelona players, Lionel Messi and Neymar, and Cristiano Ronaldo of Real Madrid.
