Your Los Angeles Chargers dropped another game on Sunday, this time to their AFC West division rival Denver Broncos. The final score came in at 24-7, and it was a poor offensive showing for the Bolts once again.

The offense has been very inconsistent all season long, and it has become an issue for this team. They couldn't muster up much of anything against the Broncos, and it hurt them once again. Their record now sits at 5-8 on the season, and their slim playoff hopes are all but gone.

Despite the loss, five-time Pro Bowl wide receiver Keenan Allen broke the Chargers' single-season reception record. He now sits with 108 for the season, continuing his incredible year.

On the season, Allen has posted 1,272 yards and seven scores to go along with his 108 catches. He has almost been like a video-game character in some games this season for the Bolts.

Allen is the engine that drives this Chargers offense, and he has been on a tear this season. He Is on pace to surpass his career-high of both receiving yards and touchdowns with his impressive year.

While the Bolts' 2023 season hasn't been great whatsoever, Allen has kept them entertaining throughout. His continued success this season has been a big reason for fans to stay involved with the team during the frustrating year.

Allen deserves much better than the kind of performances that the team puts on the field week in and week out. But he is stuck with this team for at least one more year, as he is a free agent at the end of the 2024 season.
