I was beast to this. I was beat to it in the very first post. Woe is me.
Always been a fan of the Narg weapon sets. Dual blades specifically. Horrible how these were done dirty by Capcom in MHW.
MHW so popular that even the Narg Armor Nendoroid rocking it's terrible design over the classic iconic dual blades design. Goodsmile why tho? 😑

It's a shame they haven't brought it back (yet), but as a GS main, you can never, ever go wrong with Epitaph Blade/Epitaph Eternal in terms of the look:

For me, I really like the Shara LBG and the Teostra Charge Blade!
That charge blade is probably my favourite design in the series, even if I'm not a charge blade main most of the time.
Teostra armour, too, but Capcom said girls can't have the cool version so I never use it.
I play Hunting Horn and really like the ones that look like violins and the cutesy ones like Magia.
This is the first that I've seen about G-rank Kaiser set in action figure form, and to my eternal surprise, I can't see anything about it online, though I admittedly am only looking at it from the perspective that it's a part of the Revoltech Yamaguchi series, to which also opened up my eyes to the fact that they're making ones for the Malzeno and Lunagaron sets that look sick as fuck.Licensing. The hammer was going to be my vote. All the Ishvalda gear was great but having the transcendent palm as a hammer was just genius. Felt so satisfying to smack monsters with it too 😆Dawning Tranquility (Shara Ishvalda Hammer) for more recent.
Lightbreak Twins (Brachydios dual blades) from 4U are my absolute favorites though.
Honorable mention goes to the Astalos weapons. I swear the Asta GS used to open like scissors when you charged in in MHGen but that animation seemed to be gone in Sunbreak.
I love the designs of Djinn, Corona, and Golden Falchion.
Was going to post this. Since starting with Tri, I am contractually obligated to use those as Fire Weapon. Tri, 3U, 4U, G, GU, W, Rise and even Now.
Dual Blades has been my main for almost 20 years now and I just love this simple yet aggressive design
I also gotta say that I envy you people who use Hunting Horn 'cause those designs are so cool that it hurts.

The (Coral) Pukei-Pukei flower Hammer was amazing.
I will never understand why decided to ditch it in Rise for a standard ore/bone design.
Don't have any good in-game images but many of the Bazelgeuse weapons looked amazing too. Unfortunately it didn't have a hammer. The Long Sword was my favorite:

Recently, I took a liking to the Lost Code weapon designs, especially the Switch Axe one. One of the first premium layered weapons I ever bought.

Gunhammer is a decent runnerup.

Honestly, Hunting Horn really does have the best designs of any class.
I also really like the Wooden Dog LBG from Rise.
The flower hammer was never really a Pukei Pukei design, it was just reused from other monsters from previous games.The (Coral) Pukei-Pukei flower Hammer was amazing.

As a Swaxe Main I've always liked the Golden Crescent. It's just got such a classy axe design. It won't let me embed a pic on mobile for some reason tho.

Hard for me to pick favorites just by memory, but I love Barioth so I'm partial to it's weapons with the amber tusk designs. And yeah, any dual blade that use a claw design are awesome.
And micro transaction dlc or not, the plushie weapons in rise ARE adorable as hell. Shame they cost what they do.
All these Monster Hunter posts got me to buy MHR with Sunbreak on my PS5 (on sale right now). I played the base game on my XSX so I am excited to try out a new build with Sunbreak.
I REALLY want the figure, but I can't justify it right now. It looks so good though.
It's such a cool charge blade that it convinced me to try out charge blade and while I prefer Switch Axe for melee, it was definitely worth it. Absolutely crushed that we never got it in World; thankfully Rise had it.
