Vegeta Super Saiyan Selvedge Denim
Vegeta would never let us forget that he is the prince of the fallen Saiyans. He’s the only character still wearing the traditional Saiyan armor. To embody the persona of Vegeta a traditional selvedge denim produced in its rawest form: a rough and rugged 16oz Unsanforized Japanese selvedge denim.
The Sanforization process, dating back to 1930, runs fabric through hot rollers, steam, fire and water to remove the shrink from a fabric before their first wash. This denim remains in it’s purest Unsanforized form, just as it came off the loom. (This fabric will shrink after the first soak, be sure to follow our measurement guide to determine the right fit).
Master weavers produce this fabric on traditional shuttle looms, finishing the fabric with a yellow-blue selvedge ID representing Vegeta’s Saiyan Armor.
The exterior warp yarns are rope-dyed in indigo, which over time will chip away like battle damage and develop a personalized wear pattern.
On the jeans you’ll find a vegetable tanned leather patch with Vegeta posed and eager for battle. Sewn on the inside, you’ll find the Naked & Famous Denim x Dragon Ball Z dual branded logo. The waist button is custom made and designed to look like a Dragon Ball. The pocket bags are Saiyan Armor yellow with a printed portrait of Vegeta. Finished off with the Saiyan Royal Family crest embroidered on the back pocket and holofoil pocket flasher.
Not for the humble or the fearful, this indigo armor knows its royal heritage.
