QUIDIE IS FULLY AUTHORISED BY THE FCA

Apologies for the CAPS LOCK, but I wanted to convey how happy I am and how great news this is by shouting it from the roof tops. It is a proud moment for Quidie to make the announcement of our full authorisation from the FCA (Financial Conduct Authority), in what has been a long journey to get us to this stage.

Quidie originally was a dream of a few businessmen back in 2014, with a goal to help cater to a market that was in need of a short-term financial solution.  After a year of planning and further discussions, Quidie came to the market in February 2015 providing its first HCST (High Cost Short Term) loan.

Whilst funding customers for their emergency needs, affordability and responsible lending has been key to our growth whilst putting the customer first. The work and dedication shown by both the underwriting and compliance team, alongside the customer service team has been paramount too getting our authorisation and making sure that we are offering the best service possible.

The announcement of the FCA decision to grant Quidie and its management team their full license is a huge milestone for us and we hope that this will further help to grow consumer confidence in us as an established, compliant and responsible lender.
