2. Reflection on MPU3442/2023 Song & Lyric Composition (Demo Presentation) I have been enrolled in this course, which is under the heritage core, for our 2nd Semester in this year. To begin, I had been an active member of this course knows as MPU3442, Song & Lyric Composition. In this course, we were given a task in completing a demo song by using all the skills and knowledges that we had studied throughout the class. It is significant in order for us to pass this course as it is included in our assessment markings. On 14th June 2023, I had presented my demo in the class which was held at FSGK. With the help of our respective lecturer, I was able to prepare my demo easily by using Digital Audio Workstation. I used Band Lab App in the making of my demo. I had also use the help of Cord Player to compose my song, by using chord progression Em C G D, with the D# minor Key and 140 bpm, as well as writing the lyrics. For the outcomes, I came out with a demo entitled Façade of Approval, which is a song about a people-pleaser. By following all the guidelines and applying all the knowledges I had learnt, I am able to present my demo in front of the class. All in all, I had gained a variety of skills in composing a song. In addition, I had also discover my new talent in writing lyrics and I hope I am able to continue on making songs in the future. #writing #talent
