THE FUTURE IS DARK GREEN 🌿🤝🏻 We are delighted to announce that ION and French private equity firm Omnes have signed a joint venture agreement to establish a development fund with an investment capacity of €35 million. Omnes chose to partner with ION because of our expertise in developing projects with an exceptional environmental performance, both in terms of energy and carbon footprint. The available capital will be used for new environment-friendly developments in Belgium and Luxembourg. This gives us additional clout to continue to develop high-quality, ‘dark green’ residential and commercial projects in the coming years.”  Read more via the articles in the first comment below.

FOURTH PURCHASE IN A ROW FOR IRP 🚀 We're delighted to share with you that ION Residential Platform (IRP) has acquired 100% of the shares of The Right Twin, the company owning the Twin Falls residential scheme in Commune de Woluwe-Saint-Lambert, from EAGLESTONE Belgium. IRP, the joint venture between ION, Bouwinvest and CBRE IM, investing in sustainable and affordable rental housing in Belgium's principal cities, has forward funded the Twin Falls scheme. Located in the northeast of Brussels and designed by B2Ai architects, Twin Falls entails the redevelopment of the former “Twin House” office building into a mix of traditional apartments and coliving rooms. Colonies will operate the coliving units of the project. 💬 “There is very limited supply of qualitative rental apartments in Brussels, while demand continues to grow on the back of the housing affordability issue. This was a fantastic opportunity to acquire a state-of-the-art residential building with strong ESG credentials in a sought-after location. We are particularly excited about offering a sustainable home to such a variety of tenants, including young professionals, families and senior citizens", says Sam Bordon, Head of Investment at ION.
