This was a fun (re)discovery. While preparing for a conference talk, I found materials from some of my previous talks. One of these was my ol' PhD defense slides—which, of course, I wrote+published as a webpage in XKCD style drawings/fonts. Clearly, I didn't take myself too seriously. 🤣 I thought this would be fun to share, because the "open science" and open-source software philosophies shaped my worldview around the scientific process.
