She may be a respected high-fashion designer today, but Victoria Beckham will always be Posh Spice to her early-2000s fans.

The Spice Girls pop icon—who was then known for her bright '90s style, catchy songs, and fun dance moves—completely rebranded herself to fit into the world of high fashion upon launching her eponymous label, and, apparently, her daughter, Harper Beckham, is not too thrilled with how she used to look.

In a new interview, the designer recalled a recent conversation she had with her 10-year-old daughter about her Spice Girls wardrobe.

"She's not one of these kids who are going out with a full face of make-up and a crop top," Victoria said. "She actually said to me recently, 'Mummy, I've seen some pictures of you when you were in the Spice Girls and your skirts were just unacceptable. They were just too short.'"

And, of course, protective dad David Beckham quickly agreed. "Then David piped up and said, 'Absolutely, Harper! They really, really were.' And she was actually quite disgusted at how short my skirts were," Victoria said.

"I said, 'Are you never going to wear skirts like that?'" Victoria added. "She said, 'Absolutely not.' We’ll see."

Victoria has often shared throwback photos of her Spice Girls days. Most recently, for Queen Elizabeth's Platinum Jubilee celebrations, she posted an Instagram carousel featuring snaps of her and her former bandmates. And last year, she shared a grid of photos of her Posh Spice stage outfits—and, yes, there were a few tiny dresses and miniskirts.

Victoria and David—who recently celebrated their 23rd wedding anniversary—are also parents to sons Brooklyn, 23, Romeo, 19, and Cruz Beckham, 17. During her interview she said she is worried about how social media and body shaming will affect Harper once she's a bit older.

"Harper isn't on social media, so we don't have to worry about that just yet," she said. "But seeing how cruel people can be, yes it really does [concern me]. She's at that age where her body is going to start changing, but it's about making sure that we communicate a lot as a family and she surrounds herself with nice friends. But it is quite terrifying, I can't lie."
