Background Story
A mighty minotaur without rival in terms of strength, Alistar was the greatest among his tribe. The stomp of his hooves can lift enemies high into the air or headbutt his foes launching them hundred of yards away. He could also call upon his inner fortitude and heal his allies around him. The great warrior constantly defended his land in the Great Barrier from the invading forces of Valoran. Keiran Darkwill, the leader of a Noxian expeditionary force, tricked Alistar into momentarily leaving his village. In his absence Noxian forces invaded Alistar's home burning and murdering everyone, including his family. On Alistar's return he went into a rage and slaughtered a large portion of the Noxian force but was eventually subdued. He would be restrained by chains and forced to participate as a gladiator for the wealthy citizens of Noxus.
The chained minotaur battled continuously and nearly lost everything he once was until he met a young servant girl named Ayelia. She befriends the tragic warrior and arranges his escape. Alistar takes the opportunity and enters the League of Legends to participate as a champion. His goal is to take full vengeance on Noxus and reunite himself with Ayelia.

Abilities
(Innate): Whenever Alistar casta a spell, he gains a Trample for 3 seconds, allowing him to ignore unit collision as well as do 9 + (1 * level) + (10% of ability power) to nearby champions and double that to minions and monsters.
(Active, [Q]): Alistar Smashes the Ground, dealing magic damage and tossing all nearby enemies into the air, stunning them for 1.5 seconds.
(Active, [W]): Alistar charges at an enemy and rams his target with his head, dealing magic damage and knocking the target back(does not stun).
(Active, [E]): Alistar lets out a commanding war cry, instantly restoring health to himself and nearby friendly units for half the amount. Cooldown ticks down by 2 seconds each time a nearby enemy unit dies.
(Active, [R]): Alistar's ultimate lets out a wild roar, gaining bonus physical damage, removing all debuffs on himself, and takes reduced physical and magic damage for 7 seconds.
Strategy
Alistar can function as a role of DPS but he is best suited for tanking. His area of effect heal, Triumphant Roar, has a low cost of mana and can be used repeatedly to keep up his allies. Unbreakable Will removes crowd control from Alistar and makes him very hard to kill. This makes him a nice distraction while teammates pound away at the enemies. He also can setup opposing champions for disaster with a well placed Pulverize and Headbutt combo.
