Shasha, now showing off her painted textures. Though she doesn't seem quite impressed with being cold and wet.. perhaps a change of activities is best.
Trying to fill my gallery with a few more SFW type images. Tempted to toss this in the "Water Sports" category for giggles, but I don't think it qualifies..
In follow-up to my journal, when the Oculus Rift is released this spring, I will be getting one to see if I can produce more interactive content for VR. Let everyone have a much more up close personal interaction with characters and choose what they want to see.

The 3D artist in me kept pondering whether the ball is textured that way, or that's an error with triangulation and / or flat shading.
Its actually cycles hair shader that gives that effect when applied to aUV Sphere mesh surface and mixed with a glossy shader for color. The mesh itself is much lower poly. The effect was intentional, playing with shaders.
Nice... didn't even realize this was rendered in Cycles (too little noise to tell ). It looks nice overall... and playing with shaders is certainly a lot of fun!
I've been working more with cycles than octane. Allthough octane has far superior image results, anyone can use cycles to achieve the same result when I share my model files. Also experimenting with the hair and fur rendering thats in cycles.
Oh... you are planning to share them? That would certainly be lovely! I use stuff from Blendswap and other freebies for renders and animations, and would love to play around with them if you ever make any freely available ^^
Are these second life avatars? moved on with blender? The avis look like something out of SL or IMVU
These are modeled from scratch in Blender, using only a starting cube extruded and shaped to match the reference images as best I can., though I have been asked about creating avatars for Second Life I havnt really tried that yet. Though I did manage to import Opal's walkcycle animation into Unreal Engine.
