What are SSMA RF Connectors?

SSMA Connectors are 50 Ohm screw-on connectors that operate from DC to 35 GHz (Extendable up to 40 GHz). Introduced in 1960, SSMA connectors are a miniature version of SMA connectors with 10-36 threaded coupling. These connectors are standardized by CECC 22 160, MIL-PRF-39012 and MIL-STD-348 specifications.

The SSMA connectors are used for applications in Mil-Aero, Telecommunication, RFID, Radar systems and Test & measurement.
