New Darkstalkers Morrigan Aensland statue surprises with both details and price tag
The cast of Darkstalkers haven't seen much action in the last decade or so as Capcom hasn't created a new entry for the franchise in quite some time, but despite the Darkstalkers' undead status one character has remained very much alive.
Sexy succubus Morrigan Aensland is one of Capcom's most prominent characters to date. She's appeared in plenty of guest roles amid non-Darkstalkers fighting titles and still has a seemingly constant flow of representation when it comes to both cosplay and fan art. Her prominence and popularity persist and so it comes as little surprise that she's the subject of yet another collectible statue from First 4 Figure.
This upcoming figure stands 10 inches tall and sees Morrigan sitting atop something of a rock throne lifted directly from her in-game stage: Deserted Chateau. There's a good bit of provocation behind her pose as she sends only somewhat subtle hints that she may be interested in more than just a first to five.
Those who have played on Deserted Chateau will surely appreciate the added details of the half melted candles and human skulls strewn about, as both items are represented in the statue's base.
As if that weren't enough, there's a "Player 2" version of the statue with an alternate color scheme. This version turns Morrigan's hair pink, and her costume primarily blue and red, directly echoing fellow Darkstalker Lilith.
Those interested in getting this stellar figure may be surprised that the price is just $99.99, as we've seen others of somewhat similar quality for much more. The catch? You'll be waiting for a while as while you can pre-order now, the piece itself won't be releasing until March of 2025.
