Lampshade made from Avareno Fabric - Silver from Tonic Living. Handmade in Canada , rolled edge drum style lampshade. Can be used on a table, floor or as a pendant light.

This fabric was bought from Tonic Living. They describe it best, as follows: "This light grey and sandy beige multipurpose fabric delivers a beautiful and subtle graphic impact. The small-scale, abstract pattern has a hand blocked look, creating an eclectic and artisanal quality with a modern edge."

Shown with a simple Ikea white lamp.

Available in 40 cm, 30 cm and 20 cm diameter sizes. 40 cm is typically used as a pendant light above a table or in a hall. 30 cm works well on a large lamp base. 20 cm fits a small lamp base and also looks great as a grouping of pendant lights.

Will accommodate UK/EU lamps and hanging fixtures (Ikea standard) and U.S. finials. Just let me know if you need a ring to accommodate U.S. finial lamps.

Constructed with flame retardant PVC white translucent lining (default) or gold opaque lining (extra cost).

Lampshades will fit three types of lamps. By default the shade will fit a U.K. lamp. Each order includes a ring insert that will adapt the space to fit a E.U. lamp. If you need to fit a U.S. finial lamp you can say so on your order and I will include an additional insert for the ring.

UK the opening measures 1 5/8 inches/4 cm.
Euro insert will give you an opening of 1 1/8 inch/2.8 cm.
U.S. insert will make the opening 3/8 inch/ 1 cm.

Ultimately it comes down to your personal preference but the following measurements will help.

To determine the height of your shade, measure the height of your lamp (from just below the bulb holder to the base). The height of your shade should be approx. 1/2 the height of your lamp.

To determine the diameter of your shade, measure the diameter of your lamp base. The diameter of the shade should be as a minimum twice the size of the lamp base.
