Collaborative
At Coram Deo we believe it is the parent’s duty and privilege to train their child in the way they should go (Proverbs 22:6). Our collaborative program allows parents to take a direct leadership role in their child’s education while still having guidance in curriculum. Students attend two days of classes on-campus with teachers and then complete detailed at-home assignments under the guidance of parents.
Research shows that the model works: high-school seniors from University-Model Schools® (a particular kind of collaborative program) "averaged equally high or higher scores than traditional, comprehensive Christian school seniors on all three common standardized exams" (ICCTE Journal, 2014)

Enrollment:
We are currently enrolling for kindergarten’s for a trial week September 18 and September 20.
Our goal is to start a full elementary school operating for the 2024-2025 school year.
Students at Coram Deo meet together two half days a week from 9:00-1:00 (Monday and Wednesdays) under the instruction of a teacher and complete two days of guided work at home. This is a drop off program but we welcome parental involvement during the two class days.
Location: Parkview Church: 15 Foster Road, Iowa City
Tuition: $1,200/year (Coram Deo is seeking accreditation in order to accept State ESA funds) Additionally families will independently purchase books and curriculum.
