Aladino C. Alegre, 96 of Brick passed away Thursday February 15, 2024 at Ocean Medical Center, Brick. He was born in Bolinao, Philippines and lived in Elizabeth before moving to Brick fifty years ago. Aladino was a member of the Lions Club in the Philippines and served in the United States Navy. Aladino was an Electrical Tester for Western Electric in Kearny for many years and his favorite pastime was fishing, crabbing and gardening.
Surviving is his wife Filipina Cacho Alegre, his son Alan N. Alegre; four daughters Donna and her husband Robert J. Villar; Lisa A. Dolan, Arlene and her husband Christopher Chen and June Alegre; two sisters Leonore Casipit and Estrella Camero; eight grandchildren, Robert A., Edward, Jennifer, Sarah, Abigail, Christopher, Jill, Olivia and many great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Thursday February 22nd from 3:00-7:00 pm at Weatherhead Young Funeral Home, 885 Mantoloking Road Brick. A funeral service will be held at 4:30. Cremation will be private.
