Devolver Delayed showcase celebrates games which have been delayed until 2024

The always humorous Devolver Digital has announced a new showcase which does something a little differently. In this instance they have announced the very first Devolver Delayed, which will celebrate games which have now been pushed back to 2024. The event kicks off on 7th August at 8am PT / 4pm UK time.

    1. Well considering their a company that wll actually make sure their product is up to par I would say they celebrate it some and so does their fan base lol.

      1. I was looking at it as in when games get delayed the fanbase has to wait longer until the games release date, sure they make it so it’s up to par but the fanbase has to wait longer until the game comes out. Besides, since when do devs care about releasing games up to par if they did they wouldn’t need updates and patches for releasing a broken game.

        1. Actually developers are rarely ever the problem. They want to release a complete working game. It’s usually the publishers that force them to release to meet a deadline. In this case, the pubisher is playing along with the delays. Which is what makes it funny. And pretty cool. I rather wait a bit more and experience the game the developer intended to make. Just imagine what Pokemon S/V could’ve been if GF had extra time with the game. 🤷
