Tortas Ahogadas El Cuñado

We wanted to try a new place to eat as we really want to have more options to eat when we are on the go.

So we have seen this truck several times and decided to try it.

My wife spoke to the guy taking the orders and asked a lot of questions.

They gave us a sample of the Carnitas they sell. They were okay, so we ordered a Torta to share and 1 Birria taco.

The taco was not that could at all. It tasted like it was over-cooked. Nothing special about it at all.

The torta was with carnitas and sauce you pour over the torta after putting everything inside it. It was not good at all. The sauce was funky tasting and had no spice or anything.

Overall, it was just not good.

This guys food is soo soo delicious!!! It is a must try especially if you love spicy foods .
We got one of everything we were not disappointed. Anytime we are in the area I'm begging to get something from here.
The gentleman is so sweet and very hard working.
Everything was clean and we received our food pretty quick.

Wow! Have had plenty of tortas and tortas ahogadas in Santa Ana. I had torta de asada not ahogada and it was so good. They put some creamy sauce on the bread that's delicious. The cheese was so melty and the meat tastes fresh and well flavored. I also ended up ordering a taco dorado de carnitas that comes ahogado. I regret not getting the torta ahogada as I ended up dipping it in the sauce from the taco. Soo good. Try their signature picante salsa. Try it! Hands down the best torta ahogada in Santa Ana. One of the best food truck in Santa Ana, honestly. They are new, but the cook has lots of experience. A must try.

The service is amazing such a nice owner! The food is amazing so delicious and freshly done! My favorite tortas ahogadas for sure & their taquitos dorados also a must have everytime i go there with extra extra spicy salsa
