I want to start off with the service which was very good . Our server was very pleasant and provided excellent service. The place itself is pleasant but kind of plain and it was very clean.
We ordered corn ribs for an appetizer, they're slices of corn on the cob,spiced and grilled. My son ordered tacos while I ordered steak fajitas. My son has been to Itacate on numerous occasions and he loves it.

The steak fajitas were just OK, kind of standard fare. The corn ribs were good but not my cup of tea. I thought the prices were fair for the amount of food you receive. Would I return to eat here ? I would try this place again, but not for the corn ribs or the steak fajitas. I would try tacos next time since that is what my son orders when he visits .

Very nice greeter and super kind waitress. Pretty cool atmosphere too.
It may be me but this wasn't my favorite experience. I don't think I'm used to the flavors of this restaurant. Reading the other reviews I think it's very authentic to a certain area of Mexico. I personally didn't care for the flavor of my dish. It was a lot of sauce and a bit too much for me. I had the Chicken Enmoladas.
My friends ate the fish tacos and Mis Suizas. They both liked their meals okay.
I wouldn't tell anyone not to come here as I said, this place isn't for me but it may be for you.
Super clean space and very nice staff.

Service was excellent, food not so excellent. Ordered the corn ribs as an appetizer because we never had them anywhere, you'll probably like it if you love corn. I ordered three tacos, Carne Adobada, shrimp and fish taco. They charge an extra dollar each for shrimp and fish tacos, I got charge an extra dollar on all three. Very small restaurant and I try to support small business when I can, but apparently this type of Mexican is not for me!

First time to Itacate. Came to get takeout (& marg) and check out the restaurant. Nice place, medium busy. Sat at bar which is comfortable and spacious. The house margarita is a little sweet but tasty.
Gave 5 stars but it doest reflect the food. TBD

Yay, finally good Mexican food in Northglenn Colorado!! Coming from southern California I'm spoiled when it comes to Mexican & so far I've been pretty disappointed, until now...
This place could hold it's own in San Diego & that's saying something. Everything I tried was really good, their free chips and salsa (so good), their taco's (fantastic), their beans & rice- all great- really great!!
I've spent some time in Cancun & the food here most resembles the food I had there. The carne asada, the shrimp, the birria, the tibil was all super tasty.
The service was great they are really nice and check on you & talk with you. The ambiance is nice, it's a new Mexican restaurant, decorated nicely, mid size.
Needless to say, I highly recommend this place & I will be a regular. I'm looking forward to further exploring their menu!

The food is delicious and the service good. There are no booths, but the seating is good and comfortable. No hard metal chairs. The atmosphere is fun, neat, and clean.

Absolutely delicious! Stopped here Sunday afternoon to try a new place on the way home. Found a new place we will be returning too very soon. Want some Mexican food that isn't the same ole same ole... go here. We had a Panomba sandwich (?) and Suiza enchiladas.. we had to force ourselves to stop eating because we were going to burst! House marg on point! Mojito- on point! Staff was awesome! Met the owner, David, who was kind and informative and generous. Get out of the rut bubble and try something new and delicious!!

The food and atmosphere was great. Jessica the owner served us and she was so friendly and passionate about her restaurant. I am so happy to support small businesses like this. We will be back!

We were seated immediately after walking in by a friendly hostess/server. The small cafe was clean and decorated nicely. The service was top notch the entire visit.

They have some interesting menu items. We tried the Tray Garnachero, which was like a Mexican poo poo platter. It included tacos, bean toast, flautas, street corn, quesadillas, rice, beans, consume, guac, salsa, and fries! It is a large amount for two people. All of it was incredible, especially the tacos and corn. I am looking forward to returning to try other items.
