I've been coming here for years to get their amazing pupusas but decided to sit down for dinner. Between the owners hospitality and the food alone, this will make you want to keep coming. They serve up very authentic Salvadoran food and their prices are extremely reasonable. They have a 2nd location as well which makes it easier for people on the north shore.

I'm not going to lie, walking into this place is pretty sketchy. The parking lot was full of creeps trying to talk to my group of people. The restaurant wasn't anything fancy. It had good chips and salsa they gave you as an appetizer while you're waiting for your meal. Our waitress didn't even speak English, so luckily for the Spanish speakers I was with. The food was good. I couldn't tell what I really wanted because the menu wasn't that descriptive. It was Spanish and english description on the bottom. Not much else I have to say about this restaurant. There was a bar, too. Yeah, I think that covers everything I know about this place, not enough to keep me as a continuing customer.

One of my favorite go to restaurants, it's pretty close to where I live and I only go weekdays. Weekends it's crazy packed mostly with men day drinking. During the week though it's a cozy place to go eat. Not much to it when you look at it but the food is some of the best Latin food I've eaten, and that's saying a lot since I come from a Central American family. I've tried almost everything and have always enjoyed my meals there. The wait staff is friendly. It's great for just a low key meal.

The food was good. The waitress made our experience horrible. 1. She had a nasty attitude. 2. When we were done we asked for the check 3 times. She knew we asked for the check because we heard when the other girl told her to give us the check since we had been waiting for it for like 30 minutes. This place has potential but hiring people that give horrible customer service really will bring this place down. We are definitely not coming back. It was just horrible!

This used to be one of my favorite places to get food locally. Def was top 5 in the neighborhood for pupusas but idk what happened as of late. As I normally do, I had ordered pupusas from this place for my family and I. Over the last few year the quality of the food has gone down but I still maintained my loyalty as a customer. As I parked my car and was walking toward the establishment I could hear a large crowd of people inside. I knew the place was good but it hasn't been this crowded in ages. I open the door and I was completely right, there was a large crowd inside with a thunderous roar but it wasn't people sitting at tables or at the bar but it was the TV that had the roaring crowd from a soccer game that was on. I looked left and I looked right and there was a total of 6 people in side, the 3 waitresses, the cook, some guy that came in just to use the bathroom on his way out and myself. I had called ahead and got my order fairly quick. Rushing home do to hungry I made it home safely. I opened the bag, opened the plastic carton where my food was, she was beautiful, she was golden she was ... a disappointment. I thought that maybe there had been a mistake. I had ordered pupusas which for those that don't know it's basically a meat and cheese filled tortilla except in this case there was no meat or cheese just the tortilla, so you can see my confusion. I opened up every single pupusa I order and it's about 10 pupusas total and there was about a fingers length amount of meat and cheese in these thing. For that I would have just gotten a slim Jim and eaten that instead probably would have been cheaper tbh. I was so mad that I thought about throwing away these "tortillas" but I decided to keep them and use them as tortillas for tomorrow's lunch. If I wanted Masa in a bag I would have just driven down to Brentwood market and bought a 10lb bag and it would have been cheaper than what I paid for these "pupusas" this place has gone down the drain. The pupusas are trash, the carne asada looks like it came from a malnutrition cow who had Cowvid-19, the carne asada is usually 78% bone and 22% meat. The ceviche is still the only thing they make good but over priced, the shrimp must come from Alaska. Oh and the chips they give are great also but I think they get them from restaurant depot so I think I'll probably be taking my business there instead if I really want good chips. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place unless your really hungry for tortillas and like sucking on bone marrow. If you have no social life and want to feel like you're at a crowded bar just pull up and tell them to raise the volume on the tv, then call some friends or your better half and they'll think you're having the time of your life but really you're just at a disappointing bar/restaurant contemplating suicide becuase you just wasted $25 on 10 pupusas . I really don't know what happened to this place, stop firing the good cooks and rethink your life. Maybe restauranting isn't for you, learn coding or I hear the coal mining business is coming back. But just restauranting isn't your thing anymore so just.. stop it
