Ace Taxi

As of Nov 2022, the number listed for Ace taxi both here and on their website, (707) 585-0211, belongs to "Piano Sonoma". Their website, http://www.acetaxiservices.com/ (not secure!), contains outdated information (including the phone number that's no longer theirs) and offers online booking through book.icabbi.us, which is registered to an individual called Niall O'Callaghan in Ireland! I find all this very shady, and I suspect a scammer took over old Ace's Taxi website (their IP domain, actually) and is using it for phishing.

I am writing this review to help others like me who have no idea when searching for a cab service who is and is not good. I was so happy with Saul at Ace Taxi, I had to go pick up a car at the car shop, and he arrived on time, was pleasant and professional, got me to where I needed to go. He even refused half the tip I tried to give him! If you're a woman these days it always feels like a bit of a gamble trying to find a safe ride somewhere. This agency was wonderful, I felt safe and at ease and Saul was great. If you need a cab, call this company!!

I had to use Ace taxi recently for a trip to and a trip back from Kaiser emergency room in Santa Rosa. I was very pleased with my driver Saul. He had very excellent driving skills, and had great protocols for Covid-19. He was very personable, chatting during the drive with me, which really made the trip seem to go faster! I would definitely recommend Ace Taxi !

In general, I'm not a fan of taxis. At all. Upon arriving in Santa Rosa, I needed a ride to Rohnert Park from the airport. I used another taxi service and was extremely dissatisfied and my wallet hurt.

After that experience, I wasn't inclined to use another taxi on my week long trip. However, my hotel's shuttle was broken and I was tired of hanging out in the middle of nowhere. A friend and I decided to take a ride to the casino nearby and the hotel called Ace Taxi.

I had very low expectations. Dana picked my friend and I up. She was extremely friendly and in a few minutes, offered tons of advice about where to eat and drink in the area. This is exactly the kind of information I had hoped my hotel would be able to provide!

After my friend and I were done at the casino hours later, we went outside and were trying to figure out how we would get Dana again. As luck would have it, she was pulled up as we were having that discussion. Wow! She was just as friendly as before and the conversation was the same. She talked about industry in the area and how things had changed. She also told us about the different character of places nearby in terms of what we may or may not be looking for. Just tons of information that was helpful to an out-of-town visitor.

My rides with Dana that night were fantastic! It was everything I thought a taxi ride could be. Thank you Dana!

I usually don't take the time to write a review, but Ace Taxi really helped me when I missed the bus I was planning to take. Thanks to them, my trip didn't need to be postponed to the next day. Don't really know the name of my last driver, but she was awesome. She got me to my destination in time. The meter said $11.25, but she only asked for $11. I would have given her a tip, but I only had $11 in my pocket and wanted to make sure I didn't miss my next bus. They are always very friendly and professional. I highly recommend them!

Literally called ten times tonight and went straight to voicemail. Was unable to get to where I wanted to go. Bad deal.

This company is FANTASTIC! I had the best experience I have ever had riding my first time with Ace Taxi! Patty was really nice and it was a pleasure to have her as a driver. From the moment of my call to the moment I was picked up went so smooth (driver was also honest about my eta for pickup) that I will be recommending these guys to everyone I know that might need a taxi in Rohnert Park.

Used Ace for the first time this week and was very happy with the service. They arrived quickly after a very simple phone call asking where I was and where I needed to go and then an ETA to pick me up of 15 minutes.

Showed up faster than 15 minutes, invited me to sit in the front seat so we could chat, and had a nice drive to my destination.

This is the kind of service I think of when I need to get a Taxi!

As soon as sol gets some kind of credit card system and yelp allows it ill rate Ace 6 stars. For now I have to stick with 5 because even with that deficit it's such an excellent company that has taken care of my transpo needs so well I have no choice but to rate the whole Ace crew 5 stars. And by the way if you need a cab for a large group I lost count at 13 but I saw a lot of people getting out of one of the ACE minivans tonight!! Jason C
