Everything nostalgic hits different. But nothing’s as good as the 90s-early 2000s snacks! Something in them tasted different, and something about them felt warm. We wouldn’t be exaggerating if we said we still remember each one of them, the memories we created when they were around, and the hype and weird obsession each one of those snacks had when they came out. Buckle up for a little ride down our memory lanes!

Chipsy Max:
We don’t know which is weirder; the fact that this snack cost us one Egyptian pound or that it had a hot dog flavor. A mass favorite was Cheesy Jalapeño, but it came in other flavors like Mustard and Ketchup, Beef Steak, Spicy Salsa, and others.

5&5 Gold:
Those wafer rolls were as fragile as the Nawa3em biscuits, but their taste made up for their delicate state. We still remember how crispy yet light it was. It also had a filling of Hazelnut cream that was so delicious.

Chipsy Gambary:
Long before the KFC Zinger and Original Recipe, Chipsy dropped two flavors of Kamon W Lamon and Kofta Bel Tehina. They also made a campaign to produce a new flavor where people had to vote, and that’s how Chipsy Gambary was born.

Cadbury Chixo:
Cadbury dropped Chixo to be part of our memories. It was the fun-filled soft chocolate. If you left Chixo in the refrigerator, it’d turn into an actual singular chocolate bar. And when left in a hot atmosphere, it’d be very molten. There were four colors of Chixo; red, green, blue, or yellow.

Mini Cheetos:
Before crunchy and puffs, there was Mini Cheetos. They were small spheres of Cheetos that were very addictive with two flavors. They also turned Mini Cheetos into Mini Cheetos Popcorn, and it was a cool concept back then!

YES Juice:
This product came in the form of baby bottles, and everyone was drinking it shamelessly -as we should! The apple flavor was a mass favorite, and it used to be an integrated part of our snacks starter pack.

Jelly Cola:
We nearly consumed only one type of candy back in those good old days and it was Jelly Cola. Those tiny Cola bottles were so easy to eat, didn’t give us a hard time sticking in our mouths, and tasted authentic, like real Cola.

Which one of those did you love the most?
