Jada Fire Lyrics
[Verse 1]
Shadows dance in the distance
Moonlight shines on her face
Her figure peakin' my interest
Tantalizing all of my machinations
What the fuck do I intend to do wit a Queen present just like you?
So there I sit, IG lurkin'
Tryna find the person behind the curves and the thickest frame
The sin is lust, I pray the pussy glisten as I chase a dream
Her womb tremble when I'm in between
I need me a nympho, I need me a feen
And I need her broken like ice cream machines at this Mickey Ds
On fire like Jada, extinguish my dreams
Leavin' them soakin' in blood, mensuration was missin'
Who givin' a fuck? She givin' it up
But she not an object, that's just my woman
We sin on Sunday her comeuppance comin'
She got the fire that's stokin my flame
My rite arm is severed this strokin' to blame
I'm just alone but I'm hardly ashamed
If she not down wit fuckin', don't love her the same
Don't love her the same kuz I'm like
[Hook]
Baby girl, don't play no games
I know you wanna ride
Girl, ya know
Baby girl, don't play no games
I know you wanna ride
Girl, ya know
Baby girl, you peep the game
I know it's got you lost for words to say
Baby girl, don't play no games
I know it's got you lost for words to say (Know damn well that you lost for words)
Children glimmer on her cool complexion
Her form is nuanced albeit perfection
The portrait painted was abstract to a blind truth in plain view
What do I intend beyond sex?
I'd rather be alone til I hit your phone and we cast stones at a broken home that we came from in the city known for bein unforgivin' to its young women
Her womb writing when I'm deep up in it
Superficial words form a pretty sentence, uninitiated through a text message
Pornography sit in poverty, her clit is pleasured through her phone screen
Exasperated, feelin' down trodden
Guilt ridden, know the world watchin' as we fall apart
Pretty lady, please, I pray the pussy perfect as I chase a dream
Give my heart to sirens, savin' all this trauma in a special place for a real Queen
In the dark room where our demons play
Panties slid down wit no words of love
Ain't no fuckin trust kuz I've given up
Dishrag a queen and prolly wife a slut like
[Hook]
[Bridge]
If yo nigga ain't shit, put yo hands in the air
Left hand up high, right hand down there
If yo nigga ain't shit, put yo hands in the air
Left hand up high, right hand down there (BOW!)
Baby girl, don't play no games
I know you wanna ride
Girl, ya know
Baby girl, don't play no games
I know you wanna ride
Girl, ya know
Baby girl, you peep the game
I know it's got you lost for words to say
Baby girl, don't play no games
I know it's got you lost for words to say (Know damn well that you lost for words)
Don't play no games
Know damn well
Baby girl, don't play no games
I know it's got you lost for words to say
Baby girl, don't play no games
I know it's got you lost for words to say
About
One of the oldest songs on the album and named after gorgeous pornographic actress Jada Fire, it is based off a poem I wrote in 2015 while making Streetlights called “You’d Be Surprised, Lady”. The poem dealt with hypersexuality, slut shaming, and the objectification of the black woman caused by porn as well as misogyny. With this track, I had an intention to illustrate how someone who consumes that type shit thinks and approaches women. In writing the lyrics, I drew from personal experiences in order to examine my own toxicity and what causes these interactions to sour. Speaking to the album’s concept, it kinda shows how those unresolved trauma seep into every aspect of our life, affecting every relationship.
I started producing Jada Fire in late 2016 and went back to sporadically over the years, as far as the vibe, I wanted to do somethin different than them YouTube R&B traps I was goin off of. I tried mixing this kinda Alan Silvestri sound wit a low-budget Flying Lotus type thing and was really proud of the result. Plus I got to sing a song that had in my head for years, like hearin it aloud is crazy. Definitely one of my favorite tracks off the album.
Within the context of the film, this song represents Maxamed’s womanizing past, specifically his relationship with Chantell, an aspiring young plus size model who mostly became the target of his hypersexual nature and his Achilles Heel.
