Alsou's childhood
Safina Alsu Ralifovna (Abramov's husband) was born on June 27, 1983 in the Tatar city of Bugulma in the family of an entrepreneur, former vice-president of the Lukoil oil company and an architect.
In the family, Alsou was not the only child, she has three brothers.
The beginning of a solo career
At the age of 15, the future star began to persevere in her chosen profession for later life.

Singer Alsou at the Eurovision Song Contest
She was one of the candidates who wanted to represent Russia at the international Eurovision Song Contest in 2000. As a result of counting the points, Alsou became the winner of the National Selection and went to the competition. She placed 2nd in the final. It was then considered an absolute record for Russia, performing the song Solo.
After returning from the competition, Alsou again took up work. At the end of the summer, an English-language album was released, which had the same name as the debut Russian-language album with one difference - in English Alsou. Recording of the disc took place in the UK, the United States of America and Sweden.
After the release, the album was also available outside of Russia in such countries as: Thailand, Germany, Czech Republic, Malaysia, Poland, Bulgaria and Austria. Alsou had fans abroad, her music was popular in Europe and Asia.
Alsou re-released her debut album several times over the next year, adding bonus tracks.
Release of the second album "19"
A year later, Alsou began work on new material. Alsou called the result of her work "19", in honor of her 19th birthday. The album was released in the winter of 2003.
In support of the second album, the singer gave solo concerts both in Russia and in Georgia, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Latvia, Azerbaijan, and Israel.

In 2013, new compositions were released. They also received support in the form of video clips: “There is no dearer you” and “Stay”. During the filming of the last work, the singer celebrated her 30th birthday.
In 2014 and 2015 the singer released two records: "You are the light" and "Letters that came from the war." And these are the last studio albums on which releases took place.
Some of the compositions had video clips: “You are my happiness”, “Father's daughter”, “Love”, also for the song recorded with Nail, “I can’t stop loving”. The most successful singles were: "Unable to fall out of love" and "Where you are not."
In 2016, Alsou gave fans video clips for the songs "Warmth from Love" and "I'll Go Cry a Little".
Personal life and charity
In 2017, the singer did not release new works. She developed in the field of charity. Engaged in personal life and family.
But in 2018, the artist returned not only to the stage of such music competitions as "New Wave" and other events dedicated to Russian holidays, but also to the Internet, delighting loyal fans with a video clip for the song "Don't Be Silent". Following her in the summer of the same year, the English-language song Love You Back was released.
