Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania is shrinking down to the small screen with Disney+ release date

Disney+ is getting the most recent Marvel Studios production in the form of Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania, and have even set the launch date for when you can stream it.

Update:
Ant-Man 3 Marvel

Marvel Studios announced today that Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania will premiere on the Disney+ streaming service on May 17, 2023. As of this moment, this is the most recent release of the House of Ideas in movie theaters around the world, and while it wasn’t as big of a hit as some might have wanted it to be, it still is an amazing time for fans of the franchise, and helped set up future plot threads to be resolved during the rest of Phase 4 and 5 of the MCU.

in Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania, Super Heroes Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) and Hope Van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly) return to continue their adventures as Ant-Man and The Wasp. Together, with Hope’s parents Janet Van Dyne (Michelle Pfeiffer) and Hank Pym (Michael Douglas), and Scott’s daughter Cassie Lang (Kathryn Newton), the family finds themselves exploring the Quantum Realm, interacting with strange new creatures and embarking on an adventure that will push them beyond the limits of what they thought possible. Directed by Peyton Reed and produced by Kevin Feige, p.g.a. and Stephen Broussard, p.g.a., Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania also stars Jonathan Majors as Kang, David Dastmalchian as Veb, Katy O’Brian as Jentorra, William Jackson Harper as Quaz and Bill Murray as Lord Krylar.

Major problems for Marvel’s new big bad

Recently, it was revealed that Johnathan Majors, who was previously chosen as the MCU’s many versions of Kang the Conqueror, was involved in a serious case of domestic assault. As of this moment, the actor has been reportedly dropped from all future movie and ad campaigns by his former management company, Entertainment 360, and his publicist The Lede Company. However, neither Marvel Studios nor Disney have gone public with a response to the situation. Given the importance of his character, it’s still to be seen if Majors will continue with the role after Loki Season 2, or if he will be replaced by another actor.
