Maternity ACU's???

Okay so I'm 20w1d  and Im wondering when any of you started wearing your maternity acus? I cant button the 1st or 2nd button on my regular pants anymore and I have to keep the belt loose or my stomach starts to hurt. I don't really want to wear the maternity ones because I think they look kinda silly lol but just wondering when is the usual time to start wearing them.

Oh and I'm active duty, army (So I have to deal with this uniform confusion everyday)

  • I'm 24w and just started wearing mine. I feel silly, and people constantly stare but they are like pajamas. I'd say wear them when you can no longer wear your Jornal ACUs bc of discomfort. I hate the lack of pockets. Like serious, where the heck am I supposed to put my pen, or phone?

They need to go back to the drawing board. I do think my supply guy got me ones too big. I may need to exchange for a smaller size. I retract that, I will be exchanging for a smaller size so the crotch is not in the middle of my knees.

I've considered just wearing a bigger pant and jacket, but my belly is to the point that even a small red is too short, and a medium short pant is so baggy in the legs that it's silly and I look sloppy.

They need to go back to the drawing board with these things. There's no reason they couldn't make them more, um normal looking lol. Instead of a moo-moo!

I thought that it was just the Marine camies with that issue. I had to start wearing mine at like 10 weeks because I went up at least a full cup size and my regular blouse didn't fit across the boobs (that was wearing my husbands blouse). I started wearing my Charlie's (what we were Fridays) a week or two ealier because of the same issue. They look retarted and the first week or two I was supper self counsious but I got use to it. Also with the pants I personally roll the waste band up so the crouch fits and the waist pant isn't up to my boobs (how it fits if I don't do that because I am small and they only have medium regs not shorts)
