Cherrsee are a 5-member J-pop girl group who debuted in 2016 under record label J-Rock. Open auditions for the group were held in 2014 and from around 5,800 applicants the final 5 girls were chosen. During 2015, the Cherrsee members trained in South Korea with their South Korean producers, Brave Brothers.
The name “Cherrsee” comes from the English “Cherry Seeds”, the meaning behind the name being that the members will charm many people, just like cherry seeds do when they bloom into cherry blossom flowers.
