Historical District CDMX

On this tour you will see some of the most symbolic buildings of Mexico City, along with the ancient Aztec site of Templo Mayor the ruins of the great Tenochtitlan.
During this is 2 miles walk. We will see Alameda park, the Palace of Fine Arts, the Palace of the Post Office, the Palace of the Tiles, San Francisco church, the main square (Zócalo), the Cathedral and the museum of Templo Mayor. We will see the pre-Hispanic dancers and healers, and. We will also have a brake time for a bite to eat (meals not included).
5-6 hours tour. $175 USD on a sedan for up to 3 adults and one child, and $260 USD on an SUV for up to 7 people.

Pyramids de Teotihuacán

On this tour you will see Quetzalcoatl temple, go up the pyramid of the sun, visit the local museum, Tepantitla, the palace of the Jaguars, the palace of the Plumed Seashells, the palace of Quetzalpapalotl and the pyramid of the Moon.
You are going to see how teotihuacans manage to get a lot of the pigments used to color their city. You will have a brake time for a bite to eat (meals are not included).
5-6 hours tour. $63 USD per person on a shared tour, (minimum 3 people is required). Cholula Puebla
On this tour we´ll stop for breakfast at Río Frío in the state of Mexico, then continue to San Andrés Cholula Magic town to visit the largest pyramid in the world and continue to Downtown Puebla where we´ll see the cathedral, Palafox library (first public library in América), el Rosario chapel with 22k gold on the amazing decoration done by mixteco and cholulteco craftsmen, the traditional candy street and Parian market. The drive is approximately two hours.
10-11 hours tour. $90 USD per person on a shared tour (we require a minimum of three people for the tour to be operated). Tepoztlán

On this tour we´ll head south towards Morelos state. It´s one hour and a half drive. We´ll have breakfast at Posada del Tepozteco hotel (meals not included), and then we´ll start the hike to the Tepozteco sacred mountain. It is about 45 minutes hike. There we are going to enjoy the spectacular view and rest for a little bit and come back to downtown We will see XVI century Ex convent de La Natividad, museum Carlos Pellicer. We’ll go for lunch and then free time for the arts and craft market.

Monarch Butterfly (seasonal)

We will visit the Piedra Herrada sanctuary in Temascaltepec in Mexico state.

Centro Ceremonial Otomí

On this tour we visit the amazing ceremonial center of the Otomí wich is approximately 72 km North west CDMX in the municipality of Temoaya in Mexico state, very well known for the hand made carpets. We are going to eat throut at el Tepozán los Acuarios, see how they do the artisanal carpets at Temoaya and head back to CDMX.

Ex hacienda Santa María Regla

Ex hacienda Santa María Regla, Huasca de Ocampo y Real del Monte
On this tour We´ll head towards Hidalgo state and it is approximately 2.5 hours. This just to be the hacienda where most of the silver mined in the world. Back in that time México was number one silver producer. We´ll see most of the original hacienda since it´s the best preserved. The environment is fascinating, two waterfalls, beautiful rock formations called the prismas basálticos and the hacienda are just stunning!

Mexican Muralism

On this tour you will see the most important works of the greatest Mexican muralists: Diego Rivera, David Alfaro Siqueiros, Rufino Tamayo and Jose Clemente Orozco.
 Starting at the heart of the historical district in Avelardo Rodriguez market in downtown area, we will pass through the ruins of Templo Mayor (ancient site of the Aztec) and the visit to the SEP building and the National Palace where the murals of Diego Rivera depicting México´s history. Continuing afterwards to the Palace of Fine Arts where we are going to see the controversial mural that Diego Rivera attempted for the Rockefeller Center in N.Y.C. among others. Finally, we´ll visit The Museum of Mural Paint “Diego Rivera”. We will have a brake for a bite to eat.

Local Markets

On this tour we are going to visit la Merced market, one of the largest markets in CDMX, Sonora market where they sell all sorts of things for santería (witch craft), San Juan market for exotic meats kangaroo, lion scorpions, worms ant eggs, etc.) and Ciudadela market (arts and crafts).
You will enjoy the local foods and colors of these very traditional local markets.

Local Food

To begin, we will go to tacos Hola! in Condesa neighborhood on the corner of Amsterdam and Michoacán. They have all sorts of dishes you can enjoy whether you are a vegetarian or meat lover. After that, we´ll head to Downtown where we are going to one of the most peculiar markets in CDMX, San Juan Market, where you will see all sorts of exotic meats and bugs to eat; from kangaroo, lion and crocodile to scorpions and escamoles. We will go to Las Duelistas pulque store, all this on our way to downtown, where we are going to eat tacos de canasta or quesadillas. Then we are going to enjoy the magic of downtown CDMX, the main square, Templo Mayor, National Palace, Cathedral and the monument to the foundation of the great Tenochtitlan.

South CDMX

We are going to start sightseeing San Angel neighborhood and Casa studio Diego Rivera. Afterwards we will head to Coyoacán neighborhood where we are going to visit Frida Kahlo museum and the local market. We´ll have a brake time for a bite to eat, and then continue to Xochimilco.
 We will enjoy a 2 hours boat ride included at the canals where all the chinampas (manmade floating islands) the pre-Hispanic cultures made for vegetable farming. This is a full day tour and we start at 8:30 am. We recommend comfortable walking shoes and light clothing.
