COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — Two juveniles were killed and five other people were hospitalized after a crash late on Saturday night, police said.
Authorities said a car was headed north on Carmack Road just before 11:30 p.m. on Saturday.
The car ran a red light at the intersection with West Lane Avenue, hitting an SUV headed east.
Two minors who were passengers in the car died at the scene.
Three other people in the car were taken to local hospitals with minor injuries and are expected to survive.
The driver and passenger of the SUV were also taken to local hospitals with minor injuries and are expected to survive.
Columbus police are investigating the crash.
