First aid measures 

- Inhalation : Not expected to be a primary route of exposure. Remove to fresh air. Allow the 

affected person to rest. Obtain medical attention if breathing difficulty persists. 

- Skin contact : Remove contaminated clothing and shoes. Flush with plenty of water during 15 

minutes. Seek medical attention if ill effect or irritation develops. 

- Eye contact : Rinse immediately with plenty of water during 15 minutes. Seek medical attention 

immediately. 

- Ingestion : Rinse mouth.

- Respiratory protection : Approved dust or mist respirator should be used if floating particles are generated 

when handling this material. 

- Skin protection : Wear suitable protective clothing compatible Sodium hydroxide solution in water 

Use neoprene or rubber gloves (EN 374). Taking into account the diversity of the 

types, it is necessary to respect the instructions of the manufacturers. 

- Eye protection : Chemical goggles or face shield with safety glasses. 

- Ingestion : When using, do not eat, drink or smoke.

: Local exhaust and general ventilation must be adequate to meet exposure 

standards. Emergency eye wash fountains and safety showers should be available
