MDTA crew working on I-95 injured in tractor-trailer crash

A tractor-trailer struck a state maintenance vehicle Tuesday morning on Interstate 95, injuring the truck's driver and three workers. The Maryland Transportation Authority told 11 News that the crash occurred around 11:05 a.m. on northbound I-95 at exit 59 in northeast Baltimore. The MDTA said three of its maintenance workers were picking up litter, saw the impending crash and jumped out of the way. The three MDTA workers and the tractor-trailer's driver were taken to a hospital with minor injuries.
