Up for auction is this Lionel 6-11711 Santa Fe F-3 ABA Super Chief Set with 5 Cars. All pieces are in good condition, though some show some light signs of play wear. It has been run. I have tested all the pieces and they work as they should. The Locomotive is equipped with dual motors with Magne-Traction, and the original Railsounds. They run very well and the Railsounds functions as it should, with the sound of the diesel engines raising and lowereing with speed. These pieces are a little dusty/ dirty and will need a good cleaning, but will look fantastic afterwards. All are in there original boxes. Here is a list of the contents of the set, and the condition of each piece in detail. 6-11711 Santa Fe F-3 Diesels #8100 powered A-unit. Dual motors, Magne-Traction. Nose of engine has a small rough spot, looks like it was touched up at the factory. It has always been this way. See pic. #8101 dummy B-unit. No visible flaws. #8102 dummy A-unit. This unit contains the Railsounds. It has a small spot on one side where it looks like the paint was applied too heavily, and it is cracking/ flaking a small amount. I have left this as is. See pic. 6-19109 Aluminum Baggage Car. No visible Flaws. 6-19110 Aluminum Combo Car. 1/8 inch small scatch on roof, otherwise nice. 6-19111 Aluminum Diner Car.
