I stood in line for an hour and a half to get the Crisis Core Final Fantasy VII limited edition PSP box set, and now you fine Game|Life readers get to reap the rewards: tons of photos of the complete set. Look inside for: the slim PSP! The cell phone strap! The limited edition game cover art, compared to the regular edition! And perhaps even more.
Above are the three things I left Yodobashi with. (Notice that none of them are "my dignity.") There's the PSP set, component cables for the PSP Slim's new video out function, and FFVII earbuds that might have been a Yodobashi exclusive, I'm not sure.
Here are those earbuds. It is tough to see, but there is a little Final Fantasy design on the thing that holds the cord in place.
The side of the box. Classy!
The box, with no plastic wrap on it. Kind of like... a shoebox.
It even kind of opens like one. The first thing you see is the game, on a black cardboard tray.
Notice that the silver-foiled box art in the limited edition is awesome whereas the regular box art (left) is merely okay.

Removing the first cardboard tray, we find... another one. With the cell phone strap in the shape of the good old giant FFVII sword. I didn`t know that was in there, so I was pleasantly surprised.
Sadly, the snazzy packaging ends right there. The PSP itself is in a generic black and white box. Way to skimp at the last minute, guys.
Another shot of the cell phone strap, out of the cardboard tray...
The contents of the PSP box. The silver is pretty nice, no? And the unit itself is quite light, although I didn`t try it with the battery in, yet. And before we close up...
The back of the unit. And there you have it, that is what makes this cost so much money. A silk-screened logo. Overall, I am not too impressed with this box set. The packaging is lame, and the cell phone strap isn`t much of a bonus. Man, some people will buy anything. I have to go cry now.
