Tex honked his horn as he drove up. "I made that Sterling fella a Texas-sized offer!" He said, the others laughing with him, as Leyland drove up to Tex.
"Good luck, Team Rusteze/Redbulldozer." Leyland called out.
"So, ready to start training?" McQueen asked Cruz.
"I don't know... you ready to lose again?" Cruz joked to McQueen.
"Ohh! Hope you got your fluffy cloud!" Braedey laughed.
"I hope you got your drip pan!" Turbo now jabbed.
"Got my drip pan, and I've... takin' my nap..." Annalise revved her engine.
"Bring it on, old man!" Cruz challenged.
"Luigi." Braedey called, now revving his engine with a smirk on his face.
Luigi laughed, and held his flag at the ready. "On your mark, get set... Uno for the money, due for the show, tre to get ready, and quattro to... I can't belive it. Go!!" He yelled out.
"Wahoo!!" Cruz and McQueen called out.
All five cars raced forward at speed, McQueen and Cruz taking the lead, Braedey, Annalise, and Turbo just behind them. They go up along the banked turn of the track, then go along the straightaway, now drifting the final turn to round past the other cars, all of them now cheering them on as they go round. Crux now overtook McQueen, the latter smiling at the new rookie, while her daughter charges on with a smile on her face.

After that, a photo was taken of Cruz and McQueen, which now hangs on the wall of Doc's garage next to the photo of Lightning and Doc racing the same way.

It seems that lessons learnt from the past can help out the present and the future.
After that, Cruz and Turbo began to win a multitude of races, Annalise, Braedey, and McQueen being the best set of mentors they can be, Cruz's trophy wall with a number of trophies. Tex even made a number 51 in the main hall room where the 95 stands in the Rusteze Racing Centre. Cruz even got a trailer of her own, one with her number, name, and an image of her doing her amazing barrel roll. Mack was also honoured to be her transporter truck.

The same for Cruz could be said for Turbo, her gaining the reputation of following in her father's tyre treads, and leaving her mark with Rusteze. She soon gained the nickname of 'Young Lightning' from the press, which she didn't mind and honoured it.
Braedey was happy, not just for Annalise and McQueen for passing the mantle to someone else, but that they, along with Cruz and Turbo, they can get the chance to race, no matter what.
