This 50 lb. Play Sand is a specially graded washed sand that has been dried and screened. This play sand is ideal for children's sand boxes, molding and building. The initial cleaning process removes any unwanted debris and particles from the sand. Plus, it will kill and remove any potentially harmful bacteria found in the sand. Unfortunately, not all of us have a beach nearby, so sandboxes are great for bringing the beach home for the kids to play with instead. You can't just pick any sand to go into your sandbox! You need to make sure it's clean, safe, and healthy for your little ones to roll around in. For sand to pass as play sand, it must go through a number of cleaning processes that result in it being fine and smooth to touch. The play sand is subjected to vigorous blasting from pressurized water. In doing this, the sand grains are made smaller, and any sharper grains are rounded to ensure they are safe and won't cause any cuts or scratches to little bodies.

It's sand, what's not to like? I bought it to create an outdoor litter box so the 2 cats I inherited from the neighbor would use it instead of the mulch.

Love the sand best to put in a play box just didn't get all that ordered I ordered 4 and only got 3

Good quality sand but expensive.  I spent more money on two bags of sand than I did on the sand box for my grandkids.

I bought 2 it came in one box I dont believe I received 100 pounds this bag was not inside of it.  I liked the sand though

Sand is great! However 2- 50 pound bags were put in one box. This was really too heavy for the driver making the delivery and she was annoyed and we don't blame her. We are hoping this was not intentional and will not happen again.  We gave a lower rating because of our concern for your delivery staff.

Poor driver

The product is fine, it's the price that is the problem.  It's $34 for one bag.  At the store it is less than $5 for one bag.

Ridiculous price

You guys delivered the bag like a week early which is the only good thing i can say... The bag was broken and was from Home Depot anyways... Im not a fan of the price either.. Also, the main thing, the bag was duct taped shut like it was used! Come on! At least give me a new bag of sand; not some used crap!

 along with salt, it is a compound of minerals which are some of the most abundant minerals on this earth. 
Here we have Usury in it's raw form 
Sellers on walmart.con are literally selling an item for almost 1$/lb. 
(LB is the abbreviation for the Imperial unit of measurement for weight. an alternative measurement is kilograms, part of the metric system)
