Have only had the EGO battery and charger for 10 days or so.  So far I have only charged the battery twice and used the grass trimmer twice.  Excellent charging time, battery fits the charger well and easily disconnects from the charger easily.  Longevity I cannot speak about but am hopeful that this grass trimmer system will be with for many years to come

I needed a second battery for my new Ego 670 blower.  Wow, the battery cost 80% of what the blower+battery+charger cost!  Way too expensive.  At least Ace had it in stock.  It lasts a long time and is powerful, but it's pretty heavy.  If you're using it with the blower for a longtime your arm will hurt!

Great Powerful Battery but PRICEY

This 15” Ego trimmer is a beast. The power is incredible. The 4ah battery lasts and lasts. I have had other battery powered trimmers, and there is no comparison. The balance and weight are very manageable, even for a 160#,  senior citizen. I give it 2 thumbs up and a 5 star rating. The string reload is the easiest thing in the world. You will love it.

15” Ego trimmer is a beast

This battery is a good size for my blower. It last longer than the 2.5 that came with the blower. Love the new power ring gauge that lets me know how much power is remaining.

Perfect for my leaf blower.

The battery is great, as is all of EGO products!  It was a replacement for a battery that malfunctioned.  Customer service made getting a new battery under the warranty easy and painless!

Great batteries and last a bit longer than my original batteries from 2013.I also like the fuel gauge on the new ones.By the way my old batteries are still great after 10 years of use.

New ego batteries

I purchased the 4AH battery as a second battery to use while charging the 5Ah battery.  The 4AH battery doesn't last very long since I typically run at near full power - with the occasional "turbo" blast. The store only carried the 4Ah battery although I would have preferred the 5AH battery.  I ultimately purchased the 7.5Ah battery and another charger so now I have 3 batteries.  I can run all day without taking much of a break!

Doesn't last as long as I had hoped.  Still good.

Adequate power to the blower (very impressive), Easy to handle with the strap accessory but insufficient charge to do a relatively small property.  Battery lasted 22 minutes on high (without using turbo to clear leaves from a lawn) and took about 40 minutes to recharge.  So, I need to buy a 5.0 AH battery and use one while the other charges.  Worst case is that I will need two chargers and three batteries and commence juggling all three for uninterrupted leaf clearing.  So, at that time it becomes weird.  Plus, I am bad at juggling.  I am keeping my Troy Built leaf blower as a backup.

Great item - needs better battery.

I haven't had this battery long enough to give it a better review.
Replaced the original 5Ah battery that lasted less than 3 seasons.  Battery is used in the LB 6500 blower.
I also have a hedge trimmer using a 2.5 Ah battery that is having charging issues after only 2 seasons
