Love these pants. Wore for golf during colder weather and not only did they keep my legs warm, but also were great keeping the wind out. Good sized pockets but not so deep you can't find your ball marker or tees. I wore with a pair of shorts underneath in case it warmed up enough! Very comfortable and wash up great.

true to size

Iceland in January, and I wasn't cold!  We had wind, snow, and rain.  I kept warm and dry!  I wore these pants with cotton leggings underneath (went down to breakfast in the cotton leggings, then slipped into these pants before heading out in the cold).  The side leg zipper pocket was ideal for my passport, and it never got wet. My two zipper side pockets kept my credit card, hotel key, chapstick, and kleenex.  The back two velcro pockets were too shallow for a cell phone; I didn't find a use for these pockets.  I am a 5'7" 170 pound woman with a thick waist.  XL was perfect, and was comfortable to wear all day long.

I ordered a XL because I saw reviews about them running small BUT really they are just irregularly made. the waist is huge and the legs are still a little more snug than I wanted. I normally wear a medium.

Not true to size

These are absolutely not true to size.  I would normally wear a medium, but ordered a medium and a large and still super snug like a second skin.  I couldn't even pull the medium past mid-thigh.  The waistband has very little stretch for pulling over the hips.  Need to try XL but out of stock.  I ordered medium in two other styles of the same brand and they were okay since more stretchy.  Really like these pants best though as far as the style.

NOT TRUE TO SIZE

I really like the cut and fabric of these tights, but they are tight in the legs and don't stretch much. I have a small frame and typically wear a small (size 2 or 4).  I will try a medium but my sense is that these will be too big.
