We invented the tapered gusset design in 2000; thicker in front, thinner in back. The tapered gusset provides better towing characteristics, a more comfortable riding position and easy mounting from the water. SUPER SLICE’s nylon cover is manufactured from 100% 840 denier nylon, giving it twice the tear strength of many of our competitors’ deck tube covers. Peak performance is guaranteed with SUPER SLICE’s topside neoprene panel, 6 nylon-wrapped handles and neoprene knuckle guards. The durable 70” (deflated) 30-gauge virgin PVC bladder is fully encased by a double-stitched nylon cover with a reinforced internal tow harness. SUPER SLICE is equipped with a super-convenient Kwik-Connect for easy hook-ups and a patented Speed Safety Valve for fast inflating and deflating. Designed for 1 to 3 riders.

our family loves this tube! we have younger kids that ride together and adults that ride alone. it is durable and inflates/deflates with ease.

Air head supersize towable tube

Used it for the first time today. Mind you, only 1 rider, 8 year old boy, 60lbs. So I can't speak to how this will work with an adult or two.
I read some reviews stating that the tube doesn't stay on top of the water. The first run seemed to be ok. On subsequent runs, the tube would actually sink down and pull the rider down with it. It was kind of scary actually. My son had to let go. So I pulled the tube in, and it appeared to have lost some air. I pumped it up again, very firm. From that point on it seemed fine. I had read a couple of reviews stating that the tube had to be super inflated or it would dive down on takeoff. True. Curious to see if it works with heavier adults. Overall, I'd recommend.

Make sure you super inflate this!

This tube is much lower in price than some of the competition at $150. The Airhead Super Slice Towable is the quality you would expect for the price, and holds up very well, but it does come with some slight drawbacks. I have noticed it will occasionally lose air through the plug. It's not a normal twist plug as would be better if would have that.
