The temperature, humidity and air quality readings are very accurate. I was doing some broiling in my kitchen and a little smoke was being released. The air quality reading went from zero to 34, so it does work. The readout is very easy to read with different colors for all the different readings.
The only thing I didn't like was when we had a short power failure I had to reset the time again. Maybe a small button battery could be added to keep the time.

It actually does measure the air quality

I like it. I can't say it's perfect, but it does let you know when there's something in the air. Like others have mentioned, I do wish it would connect to the AcuRite Access, that way I could see a graph with fluctuations based on air circulation with the cental unit running vs when it's not running. That's the only reason I didn't give it five stars. Otherwise, it acts as advertised.

If the add AcuRite Access, I'll buy more for other rooms.

The display is too bright. It's needs a dimmer. To much information on a small screen.  Needs battery backup. Difficult to set the clock. It needs a larger base so it won't fall over because of the cord not properly placed. The references scale should be larger.  You don't need the temp. People buy it mostly for the the particle indicator.

Has short comings.

Monitor does not show any value but 0 for PM2.5.  I have moved it to different locations in my house and still only 0 for PM 2.5.  Attempted to contact AcuRite on 3 occasions but no response from them about the problem.  I will return to the store.
