This is my second time buying one of these. My last one lasted 10 years! I turn my ankle over often. So I have to put this on to strengthen it. I know I should wear it more, but I'm thankful for the support it gives!!

Not bulky, support

This is a well-designed ankle splint with stiff side supports and three Velcro closures. There is a strap around the calf at the top of the splint and two straps around the ankle that cross-cross in front. This allows for infinite adjustment and excellent fit. I did find that I initially needed an ace wrap from the foot up to the calf to decrease swelling, but the splint fit right over the ace wrap. Now I am just wearing an athletic sock under the splint. This splint is comfortable for walking and low profile so that it fits into the same size sneaker that I normally wear.

Great ankle splint

Love this!!!! I sprained my ankle last night and when I ordered it, it was ready within an hour for drive up. I noticed my ankle feels so much better right away. Super easy to put on and now it will be nice to have it in the medicine cabinet for emergencies…because clumsiness seem to be in my nature! Also, don't mind my toes. 5 kids no time for pedicures!! Lolllllll

Great for quick relief of a sprain

I have plantar fasciitis, and I get really bad pain and swelling on my ankle, I couldn't find the right ankle brace for me. bought this one and it fits like a glove. I love that I can adjust how much pressure I apply to my foot. Provides good support, and compression for swelling.

Great quality and affordable price

this brace is the easiest to use! about 5 months ago I broke my leg, broke the fibula bone right near my knee. when I fell, my ankle bent the wrong way, tearing ligaments and tendons. had to have surgery to put in plates and screws to hold the fibula and tibia bones together near the ankle. for several months, I was not able to walk on it, couldn't put any weight on it.  when I got the cast off, I was afraid to put weight on it. it didn't feel stable. but this brace has made me feel so much more confident in walking without the crutches!  I've been wearing it now for about a week, every single day from the time I get up till I go to bed. it is so comfortable. on both sides, it has metal inserts, that make me feel more confident that my ankle will not bend again the wrong way. you can't feel the metal it's covered, but gives enough support. easy to put on and take off. best $15 I've ever spent!!

Best $15 I've ever spent!

I am currently using on my sprained and very bruised ankle.  I am using this support after one week of being bandaged and this has helped me keep my ankle straight where I am now starting to walk with minimal pressure.  Very comfortable and easy to slip on your foot.

Medium support

Reduced pain while walking. Comfortable fit while stabilizing ankle. I wore it with a medical compression hose to help with the swelling. Ankle sprain healed quicker.

Pain Relief for a sprained ankle

Since it's called a “stabilizer” I expected it to have a metal support or something like that, but the support feels more like boning for a corset.  At this stage of my recovery I need more support.  HOWEVER- this brace is really easy to put on and quite secure, so I have been using it around the house  with my walker.  It's easy to take off when it's time to ice or do my Physical therapy.

The product is nice, but I bought the wrong product. This is not the product the doctor wanted.

Wrong item

It seemed cheaply made overall. If you have just a slight pain MAYBE this might be okay but I have some major pain. So this did not help at all but just bulked up my shoes insertion. No real relief… recommend spending more money for an ankle support wrap.

Overall Fit

I found that the item was too large for my ankle. It was a terrible fit. I had purchased 2, but had to return both because it gave me no support. I had high hopes that it would give my ankles support, but that did not happen. Perhaps they should make a small or extra small.
