Berry-binging birds

Catbird with a berry

Are those serviceberries? They’re everywhere, and edible by humans, and I never knew about them until recently.

The catbird certainly seems to be in an enviable position. (Whereas I envy Maryellen her skill in photographing both birds with berry-filled beaks).
