<p> Nació en el idílico pueblo de Puerto Plata, Rep. Dom. El 30 de Octubre del 1931 a sus queridos padres Celia y Manuel. Creció junto a sus queridos hermanos Angeluz, Martha, Amparo, Laura, Rafael y Félix. Contrajo matrimonio en Diciembre del 1955 con su esposa de toda la vida, Trinidad Mercedes (quien lo precedió en su partida en Abril del 2017). Procrearon tres adoradas hijas, María Elena, Belkys y Martha. Fue abuelo querido de tres nietas, Tania, Natalie y Eleny. Compartió tiempo y vida con sus yernos, José, Javier y Felipe. Contó con el gran cariño de todos sus sobrinas y sobrinos cuyo contacto siempre buscaba. Fue apreciado por un incontable número de amigos y conocidos.</p><p>Fue talentoso Ebanista de profesión y dedicado a su trabajo. Lucho aferradamente por el bienestar y progreso de su familia; Generoso, bondadoso y temeroso de Dios; de carácter fuerte pero compasivo y amante de la oración. Su fe fue de gran apoyo para el como también fue la certeza del amor de su familia.</p><p>Entre sus últimas palabras cuenta su respuesta al amor expresado por sus hijas: Te queremos mucho Papi. Y su respuesta: y yo a ustedes.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p> He was born in the idyllic town of Puerto Plata in the Dominican Republic, October 30, 1931 to his loving parents Celia and Manuel. He grew up in the company of his siblings, Angeluz, Martha, Amparo, Laura, Rafael y Felix. In 1955, he married his lifetime wife, Trinidad Mercedes (who preceded him in her departure in April 2017). They had three beloved daughters, Maria Elena, Belkys and Martha. He was the beloved grandfather to Tania, Natalie and Eleny. He shared time and life with his sons-in-law, Jose, Javier and Felipe. He enjoyed the love of all his nieces and nephews whose contact he always sought. He was appreciated by an untold number of friends and acquaintances. </p><p>He was a talented Carpenter by trade and very hard working. He fought for the wellbeing and progress of his family; Generous, kind-hearted and God-fearing; strong-willed but compassionate with great love for prayer. His faith was of great support to him as was the knowledge of his family’s love for him.</p><p>Counted among his last words is his response to the love expressed by his daughters: We love you so much, dad. And his answer: and I love you.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>With everyone’s health and NY regulations in mind, the number of visitors must be monitored. Mourners will be asked to be patient and must prepare to wait outside the building. Visitors will be cycled through while practicing social distancing so that all may have the chance to pay their respects. Please remember, the sick, elderly and those with compromised health, should avoid public settings</p><p><br></p><p>Viewing will be held on Monday, January 25, 2021 from 4:00 - 8:00 P.M. in Farenga Bros.
