Ruth Palmer Forster OBITUARY

Ruth Palmer Forster, of Blue Bell, passed away on January 27th in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania. Ruth was born in Philadelphia to Mildred and E. Allen Palmer on December 19th, 1933. She went to school in Lansdowne. She married Howard A. Forster on January 22, 1955. She graduated from West Chester Teacher’s College. She worked as an Elementary education teacher for 11 years in the Colonial School District located in Montgomery County. Ruth is survived by her husband, Howard Forster. Her children are Melissa Cahill (Robert Cahill), Douglass Forster, and Amanda Schaefer. Her grandchildren are Ryan Anastasi (Steven Anastasi), Leigh Ann Cahill (Matt Kosich), Lauren Bittner (Jonathan Bittner), and Jackson Schaefer. Her great-grandchildren are Gaetano Anastasi, Isabella Anastasi, and Kiera Kosich. A visitation will be held beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 10th, 2024, at First Presbyterian Church of Ambler located at 4 S Ridge Avenue, Ambler, PA 19002. Funeral services will be held begin at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 10th, at First Presbyterian Church of Ambler with Pastor Ryan Balsan officiating. Burial will follow at George Washington Memorial Park. Memorials may be given to The Progeria Research Foundation. Arrangements are by Shaeff-Myers Funeral Home.
