Alejo, the breakout Latin music star, has released his highly anticipated debut album titled "El Favorito De Las Nenas." This album represents a personal and artistic triumph for Alejo, who took the time to reflect on his experiences and find himself in the recording studio after a year of significant achievements. The album includes 12 tracks penned by Alejo in collaboration with Izon, Daddysillo, José A. Huertas "Hvertas," and Joseph Baes Figueroa "Baez," and it was produced by renowned producers Camebeats, Hvertas, Yung Cado, Baez, Mauro, Dunamo, Jaime Cosculluela, and mixed by Kid Kev. Alejo had a milestone year in 2022, which included the worldwide hit "Pantysito" with Feid and Robi, "Un Viaje" with Karol G, Jotaerre, and Moffa, the EP "Full Discoteka," and his first nomination and presentation in Premios Juventud. He closed the year with a tour and a smash hit single with CNCO, "Estrella." However, Alejo took a pause to reflect on his experiences and find himself.

"It is like being in a competition with myself. Until I took a minute and decided to find myself now, not the future Alejo, where am I now after all these amazing experiences, what do I want to say," explained Alejo.

The result of this introspection is "El Favorito De Las Nenas," an album named after the moniker given by his fans as a thank-you for all their support. The album showcases a young man growing up not only as an artist but also as he becomes an adult in the public eye. The visuals of the album reference high school classrooms and locker rooms, a nod to the right of passage from teenager to adulthood. On "El Favorito De Las Nenas," Alejo wanted to do an album of mostly solo songs that define his own identity as an artist, despite living in a world that is full of collaborations. The album contains tracks with rhythms ranging from reggaeton to dance, and collaborations with Brray on "Tu Gatito," with Saiko on the first single "DxVida," and Legallyrxx on "Once Remix." All of the songs on the album have visualizers that can be enjoyed on Alejo's YouTube channel.

"I'm really proud of this album. It's a reflection of who I am and where I am right now. I hope that my fans will connect with it, and it will inspire them to be themselves," said Alejo.

Alejo celebrated the release of his new album, "El Favorito de las Nenas," with an unforgettable event on May 3rd at Plaza Las Américas in San Juan, PR. During the listening session with fans, he showcased the tracks on the album and explained the stories behind the songs to a captivated audience.
