Christian Pulisic is someone that may be sold by Chelsea this summer, but there could be some difficulties completing the sale.
This is according to journalist Ben Jacobs, who claims that Christian Pulisic is one of the Chelsea players who could exit Stamford Bridge before next season begins.
He reports that the 24-year-old’s representatives will be quite specific when selecting their next move, though.
“Christian Pulisic is another name that could go. His camp are quite specific in what they are looking for, so that one won’t be an easy negotiation. Newcastle and Manchester United have considered Pulisic in the past,” Jacobs wrote for Simon Phillips’ Substack.
Pulisic, who’s had a miserable 2022/23 season, does only have one year left on his deal at Stamford Bridge.
The £58million winger made 30 Chelsea appearances this campaign, scoring just once.
We heard from ESPN earlier this year that Chelsea are prepared to sell Pulisic this summer and even accept a ‘significant loss’ on him.
It’s going to be interesting to see who actually wants the out-of-form United States international.
In our view, Pulisic’s exit this summer would be best for all parties involved.
The American winger’s time in West London has gone stale after some fantastic individual moments in the early stages of his Blues career.
Our guess is that the speedster can go revive his career elsewhere and fulfil his big potential.
