Converting fractions to decimals is more engaging when students get to color and self-check!
- In this activity, students convert 20 (or 15) different fractions to their decimal equivalences
- Both print and digital versions are included
- Great for a sub day, math centers, homework, or a fun day

This easy-prep resource includes:
1) Two different print versions, A and B:
- Version A: 20 questions
- Version B: 15 questions; less detailed coloring than Version A
- The problems in the versions are similar but use different numbers.
2) Google Slides version:
- Same problems and mostly same design as print version B
- Coloring instructions and link for digital are found after the print version in the PDF download
3) Two coloring pages with no numbers, for students to color their own way
Note: There are a few repeating decimal answers that are similar to terminal decimal answers, so you may want to “warn” students to check carefully before they color.
- For example, in Version A, 1/9 = 0. ̅1 and 1/10 = 0.1….both of these are on the coloring sheet.
