Allied Construction Management Services Backing Super Stock STR Team

Observant offshore racing fans in Michigan City, Ind., this weekend for the 14th annual Great Lakes Grand Prix will notice a livery change on the Shaun Torrente Racing Super Stock-class MTI raceboat. The 32-footer is now running under the Allied Construction Management Services banner, as CMR Construction and Roofing, its three-year backer, is on a racing-sponsorship hiatus.

The Super Stock-class Shaun Torrente Racing team has a new backer from the commercial construction world.

“We love the CMR guys and we are very grateful for their support,” said Torrente. “We hope to have them back when the time is right.”

According to its website, Allied Construction Management Services, “provides design-build services to multiple market sectors including life sciences, pharmaceutical, advanced technologies, food and beverage and cold storage.” The company is headquartered in Doylestown, Pa.

Torrente throttles the MTI catamaran with owner/driver Sean Conner. In a first for an MTI raceboat running in the Super Stock class, the team claimed the checkered flag at the Sarasota Powerboat Grand Prix in Southwest Florida last month.
