Abstract
Bloom s Taxonomy is a classification of learning objectives in education. It divides
these objectives into three domains which are (a) cognitive, (b) affective, and (c)
psychomotor. By focusing on these three domains, we can observe how nurses can
use these domains to care for and help educate patients with chronic illnesses.

The nurse s role would be to evaluate first the patient s level of understanding of
their disease. It is important to also include a patient s support system when
teaching. The nurse must give the patient information about his or her condition in
a form he or she can easily understand so the patient can develop a genuine
comprehension of the disease process. After the patient has a good comprehension
of the disease, he or she can then apply this knowledge to his or her own situation.
When this knowledge is applied to a patient s own situation, the patient is then able
to ask questions and form a new way of thinking about living with the disease. When
these steps are accomplished, the patient will then be able to create a plan that would
help in achieving his or her goals in regards to living with the disease process. As
nurses caring for patients with chronic illnesses, recognizing where patients are at in
their journey with learning about their chronic illness, and meeting them where they
are will help when educating and guiding them to the next step. Affective The
affective domain focuses on the manner in which we deal with things emotionally.
There are five major categories in this domain which are (a) receiving phenomena, (b)
responding to phenomena, (c) valuing, (d) organization, and (e) internalizing values.

Even though these urban city dwellers were more advanced technologically and

life: agriculture. Irrigation led to harvesting crops of barley, wheat, and peas. This

The Fast Food Drive Through A Social Norm
Typically a trip to the fast food drive through is supposed to be a get you food and go
type of thing. Notice the word fast used in the title fast food. I thought it might be
fun to see how the employees would react to breaking this social norm, so I called
some friends to help me. I required a few extra people for this social normbreakage so
that I wouldn t have to pay for all of it. We met up that night, piled into the car, and

He was a bit confused at first, but he told me his name was Kyle. It seemed like a
totally normal trip to Wendy s. I thanked him for his help and drove around the

The Meeting of the Bodhisattvas Manjushri (Wenshu) and Samantabhadra is a
sculpture that is carved in limestone. It was made in China and was inscribed with a

Pachuca. I chose her video because I have watched most of my classmates videos
over the past few weeks, however this was the first week I was able to watch one

However, I have realized that counseling skills can be learned, practiced and
mastered over time. Although I believe that I have some natural abilities that can be
considered helping skills in counseling, I have learned that I have some strengths

However, the problem still is that not every state in the U.S. still does not require
labeling of GMO foods. There are people out there that need and want to know
what is in their food. They have every right to know what is put into their food.

The mind of the shamans undergoes a change as he begins to chant and heal the
